Now in Hd!

This is our first blog post, Max and I have been skiing at an amature/proffessional level since 2003 and this is the first time we have felt a blog was necessary to publish our exploits to the world in a more convenient manner. Why, you ask? Its because we finally decided to take the plunge into the realm of HD Video. In 04 or 05, we purchased our first high end camcorder, a Cannon GL2. Which served us well for years, but having withstood its fair share of high speed mishaps over the years we realized that it would cost about as much to fully repair it as it would to upgrade to one of the many small HD camcorders that have recently entered the market. We decided to go with the Panasonic HDC-TM15 because it was cheap enough to be in a lower Insuranse bracket so we got the baby insured for $75. We also Purchased a VIO POV 1 in the middle of last year, which is the same head-cam used by Andrew Mclean, Author of the prolific book on steeps in the Wasatch, "The Chuting Gallery". Between these two cameras and our growing knowledge of whats really good in the mountains of Utah, we felt we were finally ready to start a blog. We will focus on our ski touring adventures in the Wasatch Range but whenever we are doing something cool somewhere else we will let you know. Here are a few of our old videos and pictures to get you guys psyched for future posts.
